Covid Update

COVID-19 Update
Hunters’ Christmas Tree Farm cares about keeping our wonderful customers safe while visiting the farm this year!

Luckily, we are an entirely “open-air” environment. There is plenty
of room to keep yourselves and your family at safe distances from
others.

We ask that if you are extremely concerned about Covid-19 and
are not comfortable with crowds, please avoid visiting the farm
when our farm is the busiest (10am-2pm Black Friday and
Saturday). We suggest visiting on a weekday.

Our new weekday schedule – only open on Mondays and Fridays
starting November 30th. And open 9am until dusk on Saturdays.

We plan to implement the following safety precautions this
Christmas season due to COVID-19:

● Hand sanitizers will be strategically located around the farm
as in the past. (Hand sanitizer is also helpful to remove sap!)
● Disinfecting wipes will be used for saws and for “Homer,” the
tractor.
● We encourage masks to be worn if you cannot maintain a 6
foot spacing from others (social distancing).
● We will reduce the number of passengers on the hayride
and encourage people to spread out while on the hayride.
● We love spending time and catching up with our customers,
however this year we ask that you only send one person in
your group to the registers to check out – in order to reduce
the number of people in our sales area.
● If you plan on spending additional time enjoying the farm
activities (Santa, Hayride, Horses, etc.), please send someone
to pay for your tree and have it loaded on your car first.

● In order to keep Santa safe, we’re asking that you maintain a
safe distance, and use the hay bales in front of Santa for
pictures. Unfortunately, no one will be able to sit on Santa’s
lap this year. We encourage you to have your children write
letters to Santa, and leave these with him. Wearing masks is
a cute way to document how crazy 2020 has been!!!
● We will not be having an ornament making station this year,
however we will have the ornaments (tree cuttings) for you
to take home and decorate as a family.
● We will have complimentary Hot Chocolate (without the
cookies this year). The Hot Chocolate will be prepared and
handed out by our staff.

We appreciate your patience and understanding with changes
that we will be making this year to help keep everyone safe and
healthy!

It has definitely been a memorable year! But we’re looking forward
to seeing you, making some new memories, and celebrating a very

Merry Christmas with you!

With love,
The Hunter Family
